The Upside Down Values of God’s Kingdom

Let me encourage you to trust your Bibles, because any differences in the Gospels lend credibility to the fact that they interviewed different eyewitnesses. Let me encourage you to dwell on Jesus' words, "Blessed are the poor in spirit," and recognize your spiritual bankruptcy and draw nearer to God. And let me encourage you to count it all joy when you are persecuted for Jesus' sake, because they persecuted Him, and that makes you more like Him. And those trials produce perseverance. Will you persevere through these trials and count them all joy?
